One of the best strategic locations in North Yorkshire, immediately adjacent to the A19 with ready access north and south to the national motorway network.
Location
Situated on the south eastern side of the town, the Industrial Park is adjacent to the A19/A168 dual carriageway which links up with the A1 6 miles to the south west at Dishforth and provides the main connection north to Teesside and beyond. Teesside Airport is 20 miles away and there are railway stations with InterCity services at Thirsk, Northallerton, Darlington and York.
Sites
The original 24 acre Industrial Park is occupied by a variety of more than 30 manufacturing and service companies, including Teleware, Langver Engineering and Farmway.
The two phases are virtually complete, and the Council retains no land for sale. The Council does have it's own industrial units for rent on Lumley Close and details can be found here
Design
Thirsk Industrial Park is located on the edge of the market town of Thirsk and close to the western fringe of the North York Moors National Park. A high standard of design is promoted on the Council's Industrial Estates. An Industrial Estate Design Brief is available for the guidance of developers.

The Industrial Estate has the following services available:

- Foul and surface water sewers
- Electricity (up to 40 kva per acre as standard)
- Gas
- Ducts for British Telecom services
Services run along the line of the roadway/footpath with lateral ducts provided at intervals. Connections to individual plots are the responsibility of the purchaser.
