SOWERBY SPORTS VILLAGE
A planning application for Sowerby Sports Village has now been lodged. The proposals – on land east of Topcliffe Road and south of Gravel Hole Lane in Sowerby near Thirsk includes football and rugby pitches, fitness and cycle trails, a sports pavilion, community allotments, play area and community garden. It will be linked to the existing astro turf pitch at Thirsk School and skatepark in Gravel Hole Lane.
