18.5 Hours part time

Would you like to be part of a team committed to understanding and meeting the housing needs of rural communities in North and East Yorkshire? Are you interested in working with Local Authorities, communities, Parish Councils and Housing Associations?
We are looking for a Rural Housing Enabler, based in the Craven District, to join the existing Rural Housing Enabler Team that works on behalf of the York, North Yorkshire & East Riding Strategic Housing Partnership.
The team works to identify, develop and progress affordable housing opportunities in rural areas across North and East Yorkshire. In 2019/20 we helped deliver over 370 much needed rural affordable homes and are on track to deliver a similar number this year. The team report to the Rural Housing Enabler Network and the Housing Board for York, North Yorkshire and East Riding.
Due to the career progression of the previous post holder, a part-time vacancy (18.5 hours per week) has arisen, covering the Craven District, based in its local authority offices in Skipton. The post offers flexible working, including working from home.
This opportunity would be of interest to those with experience in housing, planning or community development.
