Walking is the easiest, most accessible, cost effective, and enjoyable way for most people to increase their physical activity.
If you find it difficult to get active, contact Hambleton Strollers. They're a Walking For Health group who organise weekly walks that are low impact and led by a team of trained volunteers. Walks take place in Northallerton, Stokesley, Thirsk, Bedale, Easingwold and Great Ayton.

North Yorkshire Walkers
North Yorkshire Walkers (previously Hambleton Walkers) walk each Sunday throughout the year, which is great for individuals who cannot go walking during the week. Hikes tend to be mainly in the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale, North York Moors, Howardian Hills and Teesdale, but on occasions walks have included the coastal areas around Staithes, Saltburn-by the-Sea and Whitby or the Lake District.
