Easingwold in Lights

Businesses across Easingwold have been encouraged to decorate their windows and light up their shop displays to enhance the Christmas spirits.
The competition was run in partnership with Easingwold Town Council and the Wold Class Business Network and judged by Carolyn Frank, Business Development Manager for the Federation of small Businesses.
‘The Tipsy Fox’ won the best dressed window display and Richard Clarke (employee) is pictured with Leader of Hambleton District Council, Cllr Mark Robson and Mayor of Easingwold, Cllr Peter Nottage who presented the prizes and certificates and Ward Members Cllr Chris Rooke and Cllr Nigel Knapton.
And the winner of the best Christmas lights went to the ‘Olive Branch’ and Jordan Jones (owner) is pictured with Leader of Hambleton District Council, Cllr Mark Robson and Mayor of Easingwold, Cllr Peter Nottage who presented the prizes and certificates.
The event forms part of Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Towns initiative which focuses on developing projects that enhance the vibrancy of the district’s traditional market towns.
