Putting the fun back into swimming

Leisure Centres across Hambleton are putting the fun back into swimming.
The four district council run centres in Bedale, Northallerton, Stokesley and Thirsk and Sowerby are each holding a special summer pool party complete with new summer inflatables including flamingos and unicorns, party music and colour changing water!
“Due to the success and the reaction when we changed the pool water pink as part of Sport Relief back in March, we have decided to do it again,” said Caroline Ancell, Swim Community Activator.
“We had brilliant feedback and everyone loved it as the water changed colour around them. The parties were so popular last time that we would advise customers to arrive 15 minutes before the session starts.”
The parties are taking place on :
Monday 6 August at Bedale from 2 – 3.30pm
Tuesday 7 August at Stokesley from 2.30 – 4pm
Wednesday 8 August at Northallerton from 5 – 6.30pm
Friday 10 August at Thirsk from 1.30 – 3pm
Normal admission and prices apply.
The centres are also giving away a booklet packed with money saving vouchers allowing you to enjoy swimming for less over the summer holidays – it can be download at zestswimming.co.uk
