A new free running class is taking place in Northallerton aimed at complete novices to improvers who want to run further, whilst having fun!

“We have a fantastic running community across Hambleton,” said David Earl, Hambleton District Council’s Development Officer – Health and Wellbeing.

“This is the latest running group within the district and offers support and guidance for new runners alongside other like-minded ‘Newbies’ as well as encouragement from the Neon Nights running group whose support and enthusiasm shines through and ensures that all new runners instantly feel welcome.

“The programme aims to give runners the confidence to eventually attempt a 5k run.”

The runs which are led by an England Athletics qualified coach take place every Monday evening at 5.30pm from Hambleton Leisure Centre and are open to everyone aged 14 or over.
