New date for heritage event in Northallerton
A new date for a unique ‘in conversation’ event with two acclaimed North East artists has been confirmed.
Mixed media artist, Ed Kluz and award winning sculptor, Ray Lonsdale, will now meet in Northallerton on November 23 - to discuss how they use heritage in their art.
The original date – in September – was cancelled following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
Anyone who had booked for that slot will be contacted to say their tickets are now valid for November 23 – but there are still seats available for the new date at 7pm at All Saints Church in Northallerton. Tickets are free.
The evening will be co-hosted by Frances Guy and David Kerfoot MBE CBE. Frances is creative producer with English Heritage and former Head of Collections and Exhibitions at the Hepworth in Wakefield. David is a Northallerton based social entrepreneur who has been closely involved with the town’s prison and its redevelopment.
The special event is being hosted by Hambleton District Council as part of its heritage work associated with the High Street Heritage Action Zone Cultural programme supported by Historic England.
