An innovative new club night for sports group in Hambleton is taking place later this month. (May)

Hambleton District Council in partnership with North Yorkshire Sport is hosting a ‘Club Night’ which aims to support sports clubs in the district by providing a support network enabling them to share challenges and good practice and help them keep up to date with what support is available.

“Hambleton Club Night is about bringing sports clubs in the district together,” said Clare Lowe, Development officer (Funding and Advice).

“Clubs are run by dedicated volunteers who will have an opportunity to talk to other clubs with similar challenges and aspirations to themselves. In addition, we want to ensure that they are aware of what resources and help is available.”

“We urge clubs to attend and if the night proves to be a success, we will hold similar club nights on a regular basis.”

The event takes place on Wednesday 25 May  at the Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
