Final preparations are being made for this year’s festive markets in Hambleton .
All of the markets are operating as usual across the district apart from the Northallerton Wednesday market which is being brought forward one day so that there is a market on Christmas Eve and New years Eve
“The weekly markets sell everything from cauliflowers to cards, socks to sweets and purses to plants,” said Councillor Mrs Isobel Sanderson, Portfolio Holder for Governance.
“They are well worth a visit, you may pick up some great Christmas presents and are supporting the local economy at the same time.”
Markets are held in:
- Northallerton on Wednesday and Saturdays
- Thirsk on Mondays and Saturdays
- Bedale on Tuesdays
- Easingwold on Fridays
- Stokesley on Fridays
