Hambleton voters are being urged to have their say on polling places that are used for elections.

As part of a district wide review of polling districts and polling places the district council is looking to local people and others for comments on the proposals.

The review is seeking to ensure that Electors will have practical and sensible facilities for voting and polling places will be accessible to all electors, including those who are disabled.

Details of the existing polling districts and polling places together with its proposals for the review are available for inspection at www.hambleton.gov.uk/pollingreview and at Hambleton District Council, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Rotary Way, Northallerton DL6 2UU.

Any comments should include, where appropriate, alternative venue suggestions that may be used as polling places.

Comments and representations can be sent to elecreg@hambleton.gov.uk or in writing to Electoral Services, Hambleton District Council, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Rotary Way, Northallerton, DL6 2UU by 14 August 2019.

Any representations received will be made available for public inspection.
