Gaming in pubs and clubs
Pubs
Pubs and other alcohol licensed premises are automatically entitled to provide up to two gaming machines upon notification to the licensing authority of their intention to make gaming machines available for use. You will need to fill in this form to notify us if you want up to two machines.
If more than two machines are to be provided, a permit will be required (please see below).
Cost
Up to two machines:
- Notification - £50
Three or more machines:
- New permit - £150
- Variation - £100
- Annual fee - £50
- Transfer of permit - £25
- Change of name - £25
- Copy of permit - £15

Hambleton District Council is consulting on a revised policy with a new layout, amended dates where necessary, updated references to the Gambling Commission guidance and a more up-to-date local authority health profile.
