Adult gaming centre
An adult gaming centre (AGC) premises licence authorises the use of:
- a number of category B gaming machines not exceeding 20% of the total number of gaming machines which are available for use on the premises, and
- any number of category C or D machines.
More information on machine categories can be found on the Gambling Commission’s website:
Persons operating an AGC must hold a gaming machines general operating licence (Adult Gaming Centre) from the Gambling Commission and must obtain a premises licence from the council.
