Come and be an integral part of the Strategic Housing Partnership working across York, North Yorkshire and East Riding, working to double the housebuilding rate across the sub region.
We are looking for a Manager for our Housing Partnership who will work to support the housing growth aims of the Housing Board, Directors of Development and Local Enterprise Partnership for the area. Due to career progression of the previous post holder, a part time vacancy (30 hours/4 days per week) has arisen covering the partnership area, employed by Hambleton District Council.
The post reports to the Strategic Housing Board and the post holder will work closely with officers and elected members from partner Local Authorities as well as with a range of external stakeholders, including Homes England, House Builders and Housing Associations. The post holder will also be responsible managing for the Rural Housing Enabler team and the funding network of Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
This opportunity would be of interest to those with experience in housing strategy and policy, housing development or planning. The post offers flexible/home working.
