District and Parish Elections - 2 May 2019

On Thursday 2 May 2019 there will be District and Parish Council elections. All 28 seats representing 17 wards on Hambleton District Council and 496 seats representing 77 Parish Councils are up for election on 2 May 2019.

The Returning Officer only publicises what is required on statutory notices and must remain impartial during the election period. 

Candidates are responsible for their own campaigning.

Inquorate Parish Councils

Due to insufficient nominations the following Parish Councils are inquorate and an election will be held on Thursday 23 May.

  • East Cowton Parish Council
  • Newby Parish Council
  • Rounton Parish Council
  • Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe Parish Council
