NHS Volunteer Responders
NHS Volunteer Responders has been set up to support the NHS and the care sector during the COVID-19 outbreak. To do this we need an 'army' of volunteers who can support the 1.5m people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well. Our doctors, nurses, those working in local authorities and other professionals, will be able to refer people in to NHS Volunteer Responders and be confident that they have been matched with a reliable, named volunteer.

Workers required to support our community-based care services
During the coronavirus pandemic it is more important than ever that we keep people safe and supported across North Yorkshire’s communities. To do this, we need your help at this critical time.
North Yorkshire is a place where looking out for friends and neighbours is part of daily life and kindness comes naturally. These values are what helps make the county such a special place to live, work and visit.
We know that people will want to help their communities and we’re encouraging you to work for us to make sure we can continue to support vulnerable adults and older people over the coming months.
If your current employment is taking a temporary downturn (retail, hospitality, tourism, self-employed etc.); you have finished further education earlier than anticipated; you are looking for temporary employment to support you with immediate income; or you're just keen to do your bit to help the county, then please apply immediately.
