If you are organising any public events in the Hambleton area we would like to know about it
The Safety Advisory Group (SAG) is made up of core members of Hambleton District Council, the Police, Highways Authority, the Fire and Rescue Service and Ambulance Service.
The SAG's role is to promote and encourage high standards of public safety and wellbeing at events in Hambleton.
If you are organising a large event, we recommend you return the Event Notification Form at least 6 months before the event takes place and at least 3 months for smaller events.
Where a road closure is required for the event, you should notify North Yorkshire County Council at least 3 months before the event takes place.
If necessary we will arrange joint meetings to discuss proposed events with promoters so they can clear up any issues well before the event is staged.
