From May to October 2022 Hambleton District Council is supporting a new Heritage Hub on Northallerton High Street, designed to bring the local community together to celebrate Northallerton’s unique heritage.

The Northallerton Heritage Hub will display, for the first time, information about Northallerton’s past, its built heritage, and the communities that live and work here, alongside objects from the town and people’s own collections. It is also a place where people can meet, take part in workshops and share their own stories.

The hub is part of the Northallerton High Street Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) Programme which is funded by Historic England with the goal of promoting our town’s cultural heritage and making high streets more attractive, engaging and vibrant places for people to live, work and spend time.

All workshops will be held at the Heritage Hub, 90 High Street, Northallerton, DL7 8PP.

All sessions are free of charge. No booking required.
