Making a Difference Fund
The Making a Difference Grant Fund 2022/2023 is now open!
Grants of between £2,000 and £24,999 are being made available through Hambleton District Council’s “Making a Difference” Fund for projects that meet a local need and contribute to one or more of the Council’s priorities:
- Driving Economic Vitality
- Enhancing health and wellbeing
- Caring for the environment
- Providing a special place to live
Projects must be delivered between April 2022 and March 2023 and must be completed by 31 March 2023. Under no circumstances can projects extend beyond this period.
Successful applicants must show their project will make a genuine difference to people’s lives and that it demonstrates value for money.
All applicants must gain the support of a Ward Member before submitting a Making a Difference Fund application. Information about Ward Members can be found here:

Further information about the scheme, eligibility and how to complete an application, can be found in our guidance notes. The guidance notes outline each of the sections and questions you will be asked to answer within the application process. All fields must be completed.

Once you have completed the application form and have clicked “submit”, the form will be received by The Communities Team.

- The deadline for applications (together with the supporting documents) is Sunday 5 December 2021
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application by the end March 2022 at the latest.
