Funding is available through various sources, our business team can help advise and guide you through what is available.

Grants of up to a maximum of £4,000 per business network are available to further support the development and effectiveness of the networks, improve resilience and increase business confidence.
The Start-Up Loans scheme across North and West Yorkshire. Available to start-up and existing businesses run by people of all ages. If you are aged 18+ and are either looking to start-up in business or have recently started to trade and are still in the start-up phase of your business you can apply for a loan.
Loan funding for established or growing business or early stage business. Can fill a gap in funding where conventional sources of finance are insufficient or unavailable.
Funding Circle is an online peer-to-business lending platform connecting businesses and investors, where businesses get fast business loans and investors earn returns on their investments. Funding Circle has funded almost £600m in loans to over 7,000 business since launching over five years ago, and has received financial backing from the Government-backed British Business Bank.
Looking for management teams with a good track record, a proven business model and a desire to grow. We initially invest £2m–£10m of growth capital for a minority equity stake and a board seat we back both privately owned and AIM-listed, profitable companies typically with a turnover of £5m–£100m.

As part of the Enterprise Europe Network North East, Teesside University can help your business make the most of the European marketplace. This can include:
