Concessionary Fares - Taxi Vouchers

Vouchers will be available for any member of public currently receiving Attendance Allowance or the Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance.

Members of the public will pay £30 (rural) and £15 (semi-urban) and receive vouchers worth £60 and £30 respectively.

The wards listed below are classed as semi-urban and, therefore, any other ward is rural:

Great Ayton
Northallerton North East
Northallerton South East
Northallerton West
Romanby
Romanby Broomfield
Sowerby
Stokesley
Thirsk
Carlton Miniott

Voucher booklets will contain 30 in £1 denominations and will expire 31st March 2012.

The definition of rural and semi-urban will be determined by public records containing ward status.

Taxi firms and community car schemes taking part in the scheme will be re-imbursed within 14 days of receipt of the vouchers in the Civic Centre.
