Garden Waste

The last collections of 2017 for garden waste were the week commencing 27 November 2017. The service will resume in 2018 the week commencing 5 February 2018.

How much will it cost?

The annual subscription charge is £35 per licence. Each bin must have a licence. There is no charge for the bin - existing bins will be used. There are no concessions.

When can I subscribe?

Enrolment for the April 2018 to March 2019 period opens December 2017. Subscriptions and renewals run from 1 April to 31 March but you can join at any time of the year.

Residents are still able to subscribe for the 2017/18 collection period, which ends on 31 March 2018. There are no discounts for joining at a later date.  If you wish to subscribe for the 2017/18 please call 01609 779977.

Garden waste licences will be delivered within 10 working days, if you have not received your licence in this time please do not hesitate to contact ourselves. 

Please note the cable ties provided are not standard cable ties. To use, insert the loose end of the tie through and lock like a buckle and pull. Please refer to the rear of the letter accompanying your licence for detailed instruction. 

The council may contact existing customers with relevant information regarding the garden waste service. If you suspect any fraudulent activity please report it to the council on 01609 779977.
