Sports pitches and courts
Leisure services can be found on the Council's dedicated Hambleton Leisure website.
The Hambleton District is fortunate to have four outdoor pitches located at all centres; Bedale, Hambleton, Stokesley and Thirsk respectively. The floodlit pitches are a state of the art facility suitable for matches and for training. They have a superb playing surface with centres also boasting excellent showering and changing facilities. Synthetic pitches are particularly suited to football and hockey, but can be used for a number of other sports including netball and tennis.
In addition to the outdoor pitch, Hambleton Leisure Centre also has a skate park facility which is open at most times of year, subject to weather conditions, for public use during normal centre opening times.
