Stokesley Leisure Centre is conveniently located on the outskirts of Stokesley town, near to the A172. It is approximately a 5 minute walk from the town centre or alternatively has a bike park to help you 'go green' and complete the healthy experience.

Buses run regularly to and from Stokesley and the surrounding towns and villages:

  • The No. 21 service routes from Middlesbrough to Yarm and then Stokesley throughout the day.
  • The No. 29 and 90 service runs between Middlesbrough and Stokesley, including Great Ayton and terminates at the bus station in Stokesley.


The 80 and 89 services cover the villages south of Stokesley Leisure Centre including Potto and Ingleby Cross. These services commence from Northallerton Rail Station. (The service 89 also covers Carlton in Cleveland, Great Broughton and other surrounding areas.)

Finally the No. 81 service runs from Redcar, through Guisborough to Stokesley.
