Outdoor activity centres
The North Yorkshire Outdoor Education Service Opens in a new window comprises four residential centres. These are:
- Bewerley Park Centre - located just outside the Yorkshire Dales town of Pateley Bridge, near Harrogate. The centre has 130 beds.
- East Barnby Centre - located high on the rolling coastal plateau between the North York Moors and the North Sea, about five miles outside Whitby. The centre has 120 beds.
- Humphrey Head Centre - located near Grange over Sands, Cumbria. The centre has 34 beds.
- Great Fryupdale Centre - a converted primary school in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. The centre has 26 beds.
