WorkoutWe offer a range of fitness classes across the district to suit men and women, beginners and experts alike. These classes are ideal for cross-training with a workout in Zest Health & Fitness, so you can keep your workouts fresh and varied. All fitness classes are open to Women and Men of all ages.

You can simply come along and pay before your class, but it is better to book in advance at reception to avoid disappointment. All classes are £4.40 with the exception of Self Defence classes which are £3.80. Concessions are available with FASTCARD Passport.

General

Active Life ClubBoxercise

A session for our older customers. Simply drop into the club to enjoy swimming, New Age Kurling, racquet sports and many other instructed activities. Follow it all up with a complimentary tea or coffee. (HLC)

Aerob-a-cise

Up-beat music exercise class designed to improve overall body conditioning. (SLC)

Aerobics

All over body workout suitable for beginners and intermediates. Up-beat exercise to music class designed to improve overall body tone and cardio-vascular fitness. (BLC, HLC)

AerobicMix

A workout full of variety. Free weights exercises, cardio fitness & floor exercises. (BLC)

Body Blitz

Target those problem areas with an effective aerobic and muscle tone workout. (SLC)

Boxercise

Boxing training routines without the lumps and bumps. The exercises have been adapted for group general fitness workouts. (HLC, SLC)


Circuits and Circuit Express

A circuit training session that will push you and sure to make work hard - whilst having fun of course! Traditional routines with challenging but safe exercises to develop all round fitness focusing on the principles of body control, centring, precision, co-ordination an stamina. (HLC, SLC)

Core Stability with Swiss Ball

An excellent class to improve your balance and work on your posture. Working on your core (deep back and abdominal muscles), you don't need to be fit or young to give it a go! (BLC)

Simply Fitness

A very effective 'fat burning' session. (SLC)

Step and Step Max

High intensity, low impact total body conditioning workout. The emphasis is on legs, hips and bums. (HLC, SLC)

Young at Heart!

Fun fitness class for the young at heart! A workout with plenty of variety. (BLC)

Liquid Fitness

The latest concept in fitness training, Liquid Fitness is a pool based workout which is sure to cause a stir in your normal exercise routine. (BLC)

Aquahealth

Use of the pool for a relaxing session ideal for both disabled customers and those rehabilitating. (BLC, HLC, TSP, SLC)
