What is a Community Sports Network?

A Community Sports Network is a component of a countrywide initiative aimed at delivering effective sporting opportunities.

It also aims to enhance communication between partners aspiring to provide an active healthy lifestyle, in addition to catering for the specific needs of their particular community.


Can you tell me more about The Community Sports Network (CSN) in Hambleton?

It consists of a group of people from the public and private sector who represent agencies involved in providing opportunities for sport and physical activity in the district.


What does The CSN in Hambleton aim to do?

The mission is to consolidate existing sport and physical activity provision and develop new opportunities to enable the people of Hambleton to enjoy the benefits of leading a physically active life.


What is The CSN in Hambleton's main objective?

The key objective is to increase participation in physical activity by 1% year on year. This will be achieved by widening access to opportunities for sport and physical activity within the district.
