The Hambleton District is fortunate to have four outdoor pitches located at all centres; Bedale, Hambleton, Stokesley and Thirsk respectively. The floodlit pitches are a state of the art facility suitable for matches and for training. They have a superb playing surface with centres also boasting excellent showering and changing facilities. Synthetic pitches are particularly suited to football and hockey, but can be used for a number of other sports including netball and tennis. Floodlit pitches are available to hire for one off and block bookings during evenings, weekends and extended hours during school holidays.

In addition to the outdoor pitch, Hambleton Leisure Centre also has a skate park facility which is open at most times of year, subject to weather conditions, for public use during normal centre opening times.
