Hambleton & Richmondshire Community Safety Partnership
The Hambleton and Richmondshire Community Safety Partnership is made up of 6 compulsory partners: The District Council, The County Council, North Yorkshire Police, The Police Authority, North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service and The Primary Care Trust. In addition to these statutory bodies, other organisations including Hambleton and Richmondshire Community Addictions Service, Broadacres Housing Association and voluntary Sector Groups are involved in reducing crime and disorder in our District.
Our Priorities within the Partnership are to maintain and improve the quality of life for people living in the community. We work to ensure Hambleton and Richmondshire Districts are a safe place to live, work and visit:
- Tackling Violence including Domestic Abuse
- Building Respect and Reducing Anti-Social Behaviour
- Making our Roads Safer and Reducing Accidents
- Reducing Crime and the Fear of Crime
- Tackling Alcohol and Drug abuse
- Contribute to Reducing Re-offending across the County
