a group of housesHousing - mediation

If you have a dispute with your neighbour, mediation may help.

Mediation is where an independent person discusses the problem with you and everyone else involved, and encourages you to sort out the problem between yourselves.

You and the other person involved can meet together with the mediator or the mediator can meet each person separately.

Your Housing Association can help with neighbourhood disputes and tackle anti social behaviour and harassment issues.

The Council can refer you to one of the mediation agencies in your area, or you can contact them yourselves.

Young People can get housing advice and family mediation through Foundation Housing Association's Home Street Home Opens in a new windowscheme
