Housing advice - older people

The council provides a comprehensive housing advice service to all residents.

An information pack is available which provides addresses of housing associations in the area and local lettings agencies. Lists of Bed and Breakfast establishments and hostels can be provided as well as contacts for women requiring refuge or seeking advice regarding domestic violence.

If you wish to speak with a housing officer you may make an appointment between 8.45am and 5.15pm on weekdays at the Northallerton office.

Fortnightly Housing Advice Surgeries are available at Stokesley (alternate Thursday afternoons) and Easingwold (alternate Tuesday mornings) council offices. Simply drop in or make an appointment.
