a red front doorCouncil housing - evictions

Hambleton District Council does not have any housing stock as it was transferred to Broadacres Housing Association in 1993. Therefore there is no Council Housing in the district.

If as a tenant you breach any of the conditions of your tenancy agreement, your landlord (private or social) is within their rights to take the necessary action to recover their property.

This may result in you being taken to Court and you and your family losing your home by being Evicted.

The Council can offer housing advice and assistance and this should be sought at the earliest stage of any difficulties being experienced in order to prevent any further proceedings being taken by your landlord.

This advice and assistance can be found from any of the following agencies: -
