Care - home assessment
North Yorkshire County Council's Opens in a new window Social Care Services are responsible for carrying out a home assessment as part of an assessment of your needs. For example, if you or your relative has to be admitted to hospital and you are going to struggle with daily living following the stay in hospital, then a member of the social care assessment staff or a health worker may need to carry out a home assessment to establish where the difficulties lie.
