Food safety - illness and contamination
Hambleton's environmental health team provides a wide range of services - the core function of which is to protect public health and safety. It deals with noise nuisance, drainage problems, air pollution, licensing, food safety, health and safety at work and housing.

For out of hours emergencies (between 6pm and 8am) call 01609 767 182. Leave a message with your contact details and the nature of the problem and an officer will contact you as soon as possible. It is only in exceptional emergency situations that we would expect to make a visit out of hours.
