Welcome to Hambleton District Council's Planning Policy Section
The main function of the Council's Planning Policy Service is to prepare and review statutory local development plans that relate to spatial planning within the Hambleton District outside the North York Moors National Park.
The Planning Policy Section works closely with Development Control in delivering the Council's land use planning service, the Communities Section in delivering the Council's Community Strategy and the Housing Section in delivering new housing.
