Development Management Committee
The Development Management (Planning) Committee meets every four Thursdays at 1.30pm in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre, Northallerton. View meeting details here
Only around 10% of planning applications are considered by the Committee, the remainder decided under delegated powers. The applications dealt with by the Committee are generally those which raise matters of policy or are particularly contentious.
The reports for Committee are generally prepared two weeks before the next meeting and are available to the public five working days before the meeting. They can be viewed on the website.
