Food hygiene training
Changes to new food hygiene regulations were introduced in 2006. The Regulations on the hygiene of foodstuffs require that any staff that handle food are supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene that is appropriate for the work they do. In addition, people who are responsible for developing and maintaining the food safety management procedures, based on the principles of HACCP, must have received adequate training to enable them to do that.
There are various organisations in and around the Hambleton area which provide accredited training courses. You should contact the organisations listed in the attached document to discuss your training needs.
