Hambleton Flood Forum

The first meeting of the Hambleton Flood Forum was held in October 2002 and meets to discuss solutions to flooding issues over the district and feedback on the implementation of works in endeavours to reduce the risk of flooding.

The success of the Forum over the years has been a direct consequence of the contribution made by the participants which have included:

  • North Yorkshire County Council
  • Hambleton District Council
  • Environment Agency
  • Yorkshire Water
  • Northumbrian Water
  • Local Internal Drainage Boards
  • Engineering Consultants
  • Parish Councils
  • Local Flood Action and Community Groups
  • North Yorkshire Police
  • Fire and Rescue Service

The latest newsletter of the Hambleton Flood Forum has been produced.
