Language and cultural support
The English as an Additional Language (EAL) Team provides assessment, advice and support to schools admitting children who speak little or no English. This support varies according to need, but is child-led, and may include some additional funding for short term Teaching Assistant support as well as training for teachers and teaching assistants.
