Hambleton Forum Cinema is expanding

Latest screenings Opens in a new window

Northallerton now has a weekly cinema club.

The town's First Friday Cinema Club - run since 2006 by Northallerton Rotary Club - shows films every week at the Hambleton Forum.

As part of Screen Yorkshire's rural cinema project Hambleton Forum and Northallerton Rotary Club have been loaned £50,000 worth of hi-definition digital cinema equipment - including a full size cinema screen.

Films will be shown several times a week. And there will be special screenings for mothers with young babies under eight months.

The scheme gives local people a chance to seen new movies without having to travel to Teesside, York or Darlington.

Tickets for each show cost £6 (concessions £5) and can be bought on the door
