-Childcare - services for childminders

Have you thought of a rewarding career in childcare and want to be a childminder or looking to set up as a day care provider in Hambleton?

A childminder is a person who looks after one or more children under the age of eight, to whom they are not related, on domestic premises, for more than two hours and for reward.

A day care provider provides care at any time (day or night) for children under eight on premises other than domestic premises for more than a total of two hours a day.

Both childminders and day care providers are required by law to be registered with Ofsted.

If you are interested in becoming a childminder or in setting up day care provision within North Yorkshire please contact the North Yorkshire Families Information Service Opens in a new window or telephone 0845 6011 630
