Easingwold and Villages Forum

The Easingwold and Villages Community Plan was published in 2003. This was the result of 18 months hard work undertaken by the Forum. 7,195 questionnaires were delivered to every household - with a return rate of approximately 35% - the outcomes from the response were used to develop the Community Plan.

A great deal of progress has been made so far; this has included a number of schemes to boost tourism, supporting the need for a community 'one stop shop', working in partnership with Hambleton District Council and the Galtres Centre to develop a dry sports facility and arts venue and encouraging the development of Parish Plans.

The Forum undertook a transport survey Opens in a new window that was published in the Easingwold Advertiser and sent to all Parish Councils. If you would like to view a copy of the results summary please click here Opens in a new window. Also see Easingwold Transport Survey press release Opens in a new window

If you feel you are able to assist in developing any of the projects in the Community Plan to help regenerate Easingwold and the surrounding villages please contact us.
