-Health and safety - training courses

The local authority provide food hygiene and occupational health and safety training courses for managers and staff of local businesses. Some of the courses may also be open to members of the public.

The council's Environmental Health Section operates a number of Health Education initiatives including Home Safety advice and Food Hygiene training to Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels.
