Business grants

Generally the Hambleton area is not regarded as a priority area by either Central Government or the European Union. Businesses located in Hambleton do not, therefore, have wide access to grants or loans from Government.

Hambleton District Council does, however, operate a Microloan Scheme, providing an interest free loan over a period of 12 months to start up businesses. The loan can be up to £2,500 and can be used for various activities involved in setting up a business
