-Council tax - charges

The Council Tax that you pay is used to help finance the services provided by not only Hambleton District Council but also by the following authorities:

  • North Yorkshire County Council
  • North Yorkshire Police Authority
  • North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue
  • Parish Councils (if applicable)

The following table illustrates how much you can expect to pay in Council Tax for the full year 2011/12. The amount will depend upon which Band your property is in.
